Why Detailing and What Is The Importance?

While getting your vehicle professionally detailed can be expensive yet affordable, you are preserving and maintaining it's original condition from the day you bought it. Getting your vehicle detailed is as important as getting your vehicle's oil changed. You've probably cashed out a significant amount of money for your vehicle, so why not take care of it? In today's world, the environment and daily contaminants will take it's toll on your second most expensive investment without you knowing it. Sure, going through the local carwash on the weekend will make your car or truck look nice and clean but is it really? Look closely at your paint; the fender and quarter panels behind your tires; your front bumper. Better yet, feel the paint. Feel gritty? Is there still tar and bugs attached to your car? These minor elements are destroying your car's finish right now and will eventually make etching marks in the paint. Plus, the carwash is making tiny scratches in your paint while cleaning. How many people were before you and have their dirt trapped in the spinning brushes that are going to wash your car?

Here's a look at why it's important to get your vehicle "completely detailed" at least twice a year

  • Applying a sealant to your vehicle's finish will provide maximum protection against the sun's powerful UV rays, acid rain, dust and dirt accumulation, bird droppings, and whatever else the environment has to offer.
  • Getting your carpets and upholstery shampooed twice a year will rid the interior of accumulated dirt, stains, and odor causing bacteria which can deteriorate the carpets and depreciate the value of your vehicle.
  • Applying carpet and fabric protection will prevent most spills from staining.
  • Maintaining your vehicle with proper upkeep will keep your investment at top dollar value!
  • Higher Resale Value - Getting your vehicle detailed before selling it will actually get you more money if you are selling it outright to a private party.
